Writing A Device Driver For Wi-fi Protocol (supporting Usb Dongles To Android Os On X86 Platform)
Project Description :

In schools, colleges and organizations we find people using computers having operating system from windows. whereas linux, being an open-ware operating system, serves the same as windows! now-a-days android is very popular operating system for mobile devices which is based on the linux kernel. android os has been already developed by google inc. for x86 platform also. the generic android os is not compatible to provide internet access via usb dongles. our project goal is to make x86 platform, running android os, accessible to internet connectivity through wlan protocols using usb dongles. to support the usb dongles, one needs to configure the device driver for wi-fi. our work is to modify device driver on ubuntu (linux os) and provide framework for verifying device driver software at the machine code level, which focuses on constrained embedded systems.
