Wireless Fire Fighting Robotic Vehicle Using Radio Frequency
Project Description :

In this project we worked on a multi sensor based firefighting robot. we designed the fire detection system using temperature sensors in the firefighting robot. the firefighting robot is equipped with two lm-35 temperature sensors which continuously monitor the temperature. to indicate the occurrence of fire accident and to control the various motions of the robotic vehicle we have used radio frequency module of 433 mhz. if the temperature increases beyond the predetermined value (65 ˚c), a signal is transmitted by the transmitter on robot which is received by a receiver and a buzzer sound is produce to indicate the occurrence of fire accident. to extinguish the fire water pump provided to it. it is more advantageous than a smoke detector as it can extinguish the fire at the inception than waiting for an object to burn and produce smoke. when a smoke detector detects fire, it sprays water all over the place, instead of that particular point of source. it is a semi-automatic device which detects the fire automatically but for controlling the motion of robot, human aid is needed.
