An abstract topic :- air pollution control emitted by vehicles introduction :- clean air is considered to be a basic requirement of human health and for the well-being. air pollution has implications in a number of contemporary issues including: human health, (e.g. respiratory, cancer, allergies.), ecosystems (e.g. crop yields, loss of biodiversity), national heritage (e.g. buildings), and regional climate (aerosol and smog formation) particles with less than 10 or 2•5μ in diameter (pm 10 and pm 2•5) are a good indicator of the air pollution mix that people are exposed to. smaller particles can reach deep into lungs. particles emitted by road vehicles consist of carbon, heavy metals and carcinogens such as benzene. diesel vehicles are usually responsible for a large share of particles emissions. innovation concept :- these air pollutant cause problem to human health when at breathing its concentration is increase to permissible value. if we can make a device which can reduce the concentration of these pollutant at a certain zone like at – traffic intersection where vehicle stop and emit high smoke . at a congestion location. in parking area. then we can save human from direct effect of high concentration of smoke that is producing from vehicles. this is a very simple device which can make easily , and will prove highly useful for above problematic sites. this is a device which has one exhaust fan with outer body ,it can inhale all smoke nearby to it and treat as a human nose system where hair are entrap the particulate matter and then air floe through one precipitator device which settle remaining dust and particulate matter particle and for further treating with with absorber material which can absorb pollutant gases and give clean air . its output will we some 3-4 meter height of ground ,so that all smoky air can go directly to upper layer . result – it can reduced concentration of pollutant where it installed and hence give less polluted air for breathing . advantages :- lower initial cost. high workability. easy to install and operate. reduce concentration of pollutants . not only govt but anyone can initiate this technology. disadvantages :- requires electricity for operation . not useful in rainy season. not useful when wind speed is high. requires time to time maintenance.
