Solar And Wind Based Scarecrow
Project Description :

India is an agriculture based country and agriculture contributes to about 52% of indian economy. in agriculture field, farmers have to protect crops from predators like birds, animals, etc. all around the world, domestic birds are a major threat in the field of agriculture causing damage to economic field crops, storage houses and also dirtying human life areas. such most common pest birds in india are house crows, common myna, jungle myna, brahming star, white cheecked bulbul, acridotterestritis, etc. so in order to distract these birds away many traditional methods such as scarecrow models, hawk kites, coloured lights, lasers, flashes, chemicals, etc are used which now a days do not seem very effective. nowadays, the most commonly used bird scarers produces sound to send birds away from agriculture fields. this audible bird scarers are costly and requires an operator which increases human effort. so to reduce human effort & cost, an effective bird deterrent technique that uses energies available in bulk such as wind and solar energy based audible bird scarer is to be developed which produce intense sound to keep birds away from the crops. the prime objective of this project is to develop bird scaring devices or combination of devices which must not result in unreasonable interference to neighbouring residents. managing orchards and vineyards, bird populations and efforts to scare birds from sensitive production while not impacting unreasonably upon the quality of life of nearby residents is not a simple matter; nor is there a simple solution. existing measures to regulate the use of audible bird scaring devices to protect primary production tend to provide some certainty of use for operators and nearby residents, but their operation is still leading to impacts and conflicts. although dissatisfaction with the current management system is geographically widespread, the intensity of concern appears to vary significantly between regions.
