A smart tab is basically a raspberry pi based multipurpose tablet capable of calling, texting, email sending, sensing ( temperature, humidity, light, and axis), location tracking, image & video capturing, music, etc. it is a customized tablet not only for general use but also for educational purposes like learning programming languages including c, linux, python, databases, etc. it teaches different aspects of every programming language such as their interfacing with various sensors, coding, tested output, sample programs. also, it embeds several sensors like temperature and humidity, accelerometer and light sensors and gives their readings according to the environment. it also provides bluetooth, wi-fi, camera and audio facilities. it uses the customized raspbian operating system for its functioning and is developed on the pyqt framework. as compared to normal tablets it is cost effective as well as efficient in implementing several features that are generally not involved in the traditional ones.
