Water management: rain water harvesting on roads to avoid flooding here, is an idea to avoid flooding during heavy rains. the idea is to construct a canal or drainage system in the middle of the roads. this canal is only for rain water and no waste or drainage water must be allowed to flow inside this . usually we have drainages on both sides of the road. the drainages can have two sections ,the upper portion could be for rain water, while the lower portion could be used for drainage water. the upper portion could have big holes on the top through which rain water can enter the duct. we can connect the upper portion of the duct which has rain water to the canal in middle of the road by underground pipelines. the canal can be connected to some water body in the area or we can collect the water in the corporation tank. and use it later when we need. practically, we can avoid the water logging on the roads , i hope if we adopt this method we can avoid disaster like floods, mainly in the city.
