* Power Generation Using Solar Powered Stirling Engine
Project Description :

In the present scenario the need of the hour is clean and green energy based on the renewable energy resources. the solar energy is one of the cleaner and greener energy available in abundance, but systems incorporated, like solar panels, to harness the solar power are less efficient and costlier. the answer to the question of highly efficient clean and green energy is producing the energy through the use of stirling engine power by solar energy. the stirling engine in combination with solar concentrator is a very efficient and clean source of energy, thereby provides us an answer to the problem of cleaner and greener energy. stirling engine is a heat engine which converts the heat energy into mechanical work by the compression and expansion of the air. it is highly efficient compared to steam engine and can use almost any type of heat source. stirling engine can run on directly on any available heat sources. the engine mechanisms are in some way simpler than other reciprocating engine type as no valves are needed and the burner system can be relatively simple. they can be built to run quietly and without any air supply for air independent position use in submarines. they start easily and run more efficiently in cold weather in contrast to internal combustion which starts quickly in warm weather but not in cold weather. this is extremely flexible thy can be used combine heat and power in the winter &as cools in summer. applications of stirling engine range from heating and cooling to underwater power system. a stirling engine can function as a heat pump for heating and cooling other uses include combine heat and power. the main applications of the system include:- power generation low temperature difference engine heat pump marine engine
