Next-generation Fan Solutions: Affordable And Energy-efficient Designs Combining Induction, Pmbldc And Srm Technologies
Project Description :

Global energy demands and environmental concerns are driving the need for more sustainable and efficient ventilation solutions. traditional fans, powered by inefficient motors, consume excessive energy, leading to higher electricity bills and a larger carbon footprint. in response, this project introduces three energy-efficient motor designs to improve ventilation while reducing costs. a 35w induction motor for ceiling fans reduces power consumption by up to 50% compared to conventional motors (70-80w), achieving the same airflow and improving cost-effectiveness through optimized stator-rotor geometry and materials. a 25w pmbldc motor for ceiling fans offers enhanced efficiency with a high torque-to-weight ratio, low mechanical losses, and reduced maintenance by using permanent magnets while minimizing magnet volume. for exhaust fans, a 220w switched reluctance motor (srm) provides a robust, magnet-free design that excels in high-temperature environments, with advanced control algorithms reducing noise and vibration. the holistic design maximizes airflow efficiency and reduces energy consumption, offering long-term savings. these innovations provide sustainable, cost-effective solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial ventilation needs, with potential for large-scale adoption.
