Introduction: - air pollution has become a very challenging task for world to cope with. many efforts and initiatives has been taken out by government agencies to overcome this problem by many countries. polluted air is the main reason for various diseases such as dust allergies, asthma and other respiratory disorders. with the aim of serving mankind to breath pollution free air the research work is carried out to find all the possible solutions for such disorders. the cotton masks which are available are very big in size and hamper the beauty and facial appearance if used. so to avoid such problems a micro nasal filter would be prepared by using silicon and cotton which can be inserted in nostrils which can filter the inhaled air and solve the disorders arise due to polluted air. aim:- the aim of the research work is to invent a micro nasal filter which could be inserted into nostrils to aid dust free inhalation of air. objective:- the initiative is taken to invent a filter to achieve the objectives such as 1. to eradicate respiratory diseases associated with inhalation of polluted air. 2. to stop unnecessary intake of costly medications. 3. to ease the lifestyle of bike drivers who are frequently getting exposed to polluted air. 4. it can be used to replace masks used in industry while manufacturing drug products. 5. to protect human being from communicable diseases by bacteria and viruses. plan of work:- 1. literature review to find out the nose mask available and the technologies involve in manufacturing. 2. materials to be used are gelatin, adsorbent, solid silica sphere, cottons 3. method of manufacture- porour gelatin hollow spheres could be prepared by using gelatin and different polymers. the solid spheres would be coated with adsorbent and placed inside the hollow spheres. it should be odd in number so as to prevent the blockadge of filter pores. cotton is used to provide a cushion effect and would be sealed on either sides of gelatin hemispheres after keeping adsorbent coated solid spheres inside it. 4. the design is given below in figure. conclusions:- from the above research work, the initiative taken to prepare a micro nasal filters could be found to be prepared at a very low cost and benefits the society in a large scale eradicating many respiratory disorders.
