The project describes the development and implementation of a can-based industrial automation and control system. can communication protocol is chosen to realize the objective. the main issues are to be considered for monitoring and controlling of industrial critical process parameters such as temperature and gas leakage/smoke level of the boiler detection inside the plants. the communication module used in this project is embedded networking by the can. this project is designed for monitoring the different parameters of the boiler in the plant using the mcs-51 micro controller. this project involves data acquisitions, data processing, data transmission, data reception, control actions and the display of the physical variables.
