Using the emerging technique of respiratory sound analysis , a unique diagnostic mobile based application (i-treat) has been developed, which is capable of preliminary diagnosis of pneumonia. the application captures the respiratory sounds of the infant through the mobiles microphone and checks for patterns in the respiratory sounds peculiar to pneumonia and the analysis of the same.
