Women security is the main concern that needs immediate action in society. attacks against women are increasing day by day and this should be treated as a social evil that would not be supported in any case. according to the un survey more than 2, 50,000 rape cases are being reported by the police across 65 countries. this tells us that there is a drastic increase in the rate of actions that are so disrespectful for women. there are many other cases that aren’t reported by the police stations or the people due to their societal concern and insecurity to fight against these issues. women safety in india is a big concern which is the most important issue that should be considered. safety of the women matters a lot either in-home or in working places. last few cases against women were very dread and fearful. to create protection for women, we had come up with an innovative project of reusable and compatible smart gloves for women security. this project comprises of hand gloves made of transparent compatible synthetic fibre like polyester coated with silica gel hybrids that can be reused and an electronic system that provides electric shock to the attacker and helps women to defend herself. silica gel hybrid is a good water absorbent, which can absorb the sweat released from the body and it will maintain the stable temperature helps to protect the circuit from getting short-circuited. the unique non-flammable and non-toxic property of silica gel hybrid forms a biocompatible and heat insulative layer which makes the glove insensitive to the external environment affecting the embedded electronic systems. the biocompatible and non-carcinogenic nature of the material maintains the body humid conditions and does not create irritations while using. the stability and porosity of this material make more sustainable for daily use. the actual electronic system consists of a microcontroller raspberry pi 3 model b is interfaced with panic switch, piezoelectric buzzer, gsm modem, gps module, temperature sensor, force sensor and camera. when the pressure is added to the force sensor or when the panic switch is activated the electric shock is given to the attacker and the location is directly sent to the predefined numbers and the camera starts recording the video and it is sent to the local police station or any other predefined numbers such that her relatives or people who may help her might know the exact situation and location of the user and the piezoelectric buzzer also gets activated and gives a high sound so that the people around the surroundings may get an alert and might come to save her. the temperature sensor is used to sense her body temperature and estimation of her health condition during the attack can also be made and an alert can be sent to the predefined numbers. as the material used for the gloves is transparent and compatible it can be reused and can work in any kind of situations. this prototype can also made with different types of processors like aurduino lilypad, nano,uno, arm7 etc. to make it more precise and small but most probably raspberry pi has high clock speed and works as a microcomputer. it can be used for applications that need fast transmission and functionality. the whole electronic system can be removed or attached just like a sticker while and after washing making it reusable and sustainable for a long time.
