Fully Automatic Feed Dispenser For Biofloc Technology Based Artificial Fish Farming
Project Description :

Around 70% of the population of india lives in the rural areas out of which around 85% depends on agriculture. technology through automation and artificial intelligence, is one of the most promising as well as least catered need, especially in the field of agriculture. according to several surveys it has been observed that most of the agriculture related needs are met by traditional ways. with the introduction of biofloc technology there has been a substantial rise of fish and shrimp farming in artificial tanks. however there is no technological advancement in this field and is confined only to limited areas. most of the work is done manually using manpower due to which the maximum yield as well as the quality that can be produced is not achieved. therefore, this project proposes to design a fully automatic feed dispenser for biofloc technology which is equipped with the following advanced technologies : 1.the food dispenser moves automatically throughout the length of the artificial tank. 2.food dispenser also distributes the food uniformly throughout the tank automatically at predetermined time intervals. 3.the amount of food that needs to be distributed is forecasted by pre-trained deep learning model deployed on the main storage tank depending on various factors like age, temperature, ph level, alkalinity, hardness, metals etc. 4.the tank is also equipped with various instruments to measure different parameters of water on which the growth of fish depends. and these parameters are displayed on the monitor in real time. 5.the food dispenser is tracked below the main tank using rfid tags for refilling purposes. 6.this system is also having a provision of informing the operators directly through sms in case of failure of any equipment. this efficient fish farming solution will address the critical issues of creating sustainable employment for youth, at the same time providing communities with alternate and affordable source of protein.
