Design And Fabrication Of Parking Enabler Device For Cars

No solution is in sight to check the astounding rise in the number of private vehicles in various metropolitan cities. in such conditions, vehicle management and their parking poses difficulties to the users and the resulting parking problem has often led to disruption of traffic regulations. therefore an immediate and effective solution is in high demand all over the world.the parking enabler device is used to reduce the problems faced during parallel parking of cars. this device consists of a hydraulic power pack unit, 5 jacks fitted with wheels and a hydraulic motor. four jacks are mounted to the four corners of the chassis and the fifth driving jack is mounted on to the centre of the chassis. these jacks facilitate lifting the wheels of the car several inches above the ground. the power pack unit comprises of a pump, hydraulic tank and an electric motor. the electric motor drives the pump which supplies oil at required pressure to the jacks as well as the hydraulic motor. the connections from the hydraulic power pack to all five jacks and the hydraulic motor is brought about by using hydraulic hoses designed for the system pressure. a hydraulic motor is coupled with the wheel underneath the central driving jack. when the device is actuated, all the 5 jacks lift the wheels of the car above the ground level and a drive is given to the hydraulic motor to roll the car in the lateral direction.
