Today’s world is developing very fast. newer developments, technology and advancement are tacking place at very fast in each and every field. we are going to represent a model of groove polishing machine. to reduce the limitation of manual polishing of traverse drum groove used in textile winding machine, special purpose machine for polishing is necessary. traverse drum groove polishing machine is used to polish the surface of grooves of traverse drum which are narrow or wide and variable depth in nature. in this polishing machine the abrasive belt is rotated continuously pass through the pulley, the v-shape of belt is obtain by means of upper and lower rollers. the area between upper and lower roller is called working area. in this working area the drum is fed and polishing of groove can be achieved. the main advantage of polishing machine is reduction of manpower, high accuracy of polishing, reduction of worker fatigue and increase drum life.
