This projects aims to provide safety for the residents. on many occasions when fire breaks out, lay person don’t know how to use extinguisher. moreover even if they know how to use, they don’t know what type of extinguisher to use. effort is made to plug out the above problem. this project consists of an arrangement to extinguish the fire in three ways, depending upon the source of the fire. since this project consists of sensors and micro controllers snuffing is done automatically and does not require any expertize in operating the extinguisher. additional feature that this project has is sending message automatically to the fire station or to person who own the building. stringent rules may insist construction builders to equip the features to avoid major fire accidents. the extinguishers uses are water and carbon dioxide in foam and powder form. the heat and smoke sensors attached, senses when there is a fire accident and send signals to the micro-controller. this in turn operates the solenoid valves to spray water or co2. this project is very cost effective as the pipe lines required for supplying water and co2 can be laid during the construction of the building
