A Portable And Efficient Electronic Filter For Sub-micron Particles From Fluids
Project Description :

Clean water being scarce and inevitable to human beings, its filtration and purification is an area of ever increasing importance. although there are several widely used techniques for filtration, removal of impurities of sub micron size is complex and costly. here we propose an electronic filter with novel electrode pattern for filtering sub-micron sized particles from water. an applied electric field causes aggregation of particles between electrodes, thereby filtering them out from the fluid. the filter is safe, efficient, portable and consumes low power.
