Parameters to be taken into consideration while solving the Sanitation Problem

  • Low-Cost
  • Non-Stinking
  • Easy to Clean
  • Durable
  • Water Consumption should be minimized

Other factors which should be taken into consideration while solving this problem:

  • Should be made according to the Climatic Zone for which you are trying to solve the problem. For example, design would be different on hilly region while it would be different for Rajasthan.
  • Should be designed by taking Age into Consideration, from Children to Senile.
  • Concept of Rural or Urban Sanitation should also be taken care of while solving the problem.
  • The toilet designed can be Stationary or Portable.
  • Also, the sanitation problem can also be solved by taking the Disability of people into considerations, i.e. toilet for Blind or Handicap people can be designed.
