Smart Home For Physically Disabled People
Project Description :

The internet of things (iot) is the network of physical objects or "things" embedded with electronics, software, sensors, and network connectivity, which enables these objects to collect and exchange data. the internet of things (iot) shall be able to incorporate transparently and seamlessly a large number of different and heterogeneous end systems, while providing open access to selected subsets of data for the development of a plethora of digital services. building a general architecture for the iot is hence a very complex task, mainly because of the extremely large variety of devices, link layer technologies, and services that may be involved in such a system. in this paper we specially focus on smart home application of iot. it includes features like • home security - access control • lighting control • automated meter reading we are up to making the application like sensing the person entering into the room and switching the air conditioner automatically. also the entering gate will sense the person’s id and will allow entering only the person belonging to that home. it includes the selling of our project after implementation. our project when launched in market will help many of the people at homes. it will enable the persons at home to connect all devices with each other. it will show much impact in the business world of the iot. this technology includes the features which should be taken into consideration like massive scaling, architecture and dependencies, creating knowledge and big data, robustness, openness, security, privacy. also it includes the using of large network for the big data to be handled. for the large networks, we have to use ipv6 instead of ipv4 which includes much number of devices to be connected. our product will make much more difference to the physically disabled as our product helps to connect all devices through the internet from the one main device. the person who is disabled or who cannot work commonly as other people, by using this product can access whole home through the one device through the internet. for example, people who are on wheelchair can access all the devices of the house from the one device in his hands. in this way our product will make difference in doing the work of the house in a smarter way. a proof-of-concept deployment of an iot smart home is eclipse smart home.
