Nano Material Based Flexible Aqueous Power Cell For Energy Conversion And Storage(self-charging And Flexible Aqueous Power Cell).
Project Description :

The power cell was fabricated using zinc oxide nanoparticle as piezoelectric material which converts mechanical energy in to electrical energy. graphene nanosheets were employed as the anode materials. the aluminum was used as the current collector for anode. the limn2o4 cathode material that was extracted from waste li-ion batteries was used as cathode. application of zinc oxide nanoparticle has been of greater advantage in the operation of the device as the size of the material is small, where more amount of charge/ion transport can take place in small dimension. the materials synthesized are characterized using sem, xrd, ftir, cyclic voltammetry and scanning electron microscopy. the size of the zno is about 50 nm as observed under sem. particles shows rod like morphology. flexible battery was fabricated exhibits 1.2v to 1.5v output.
