The basic idea about our need to measure wind’s velocity and its direction is a priority in our project. all the equipment used to measure these factors is out of reach from the hands of common people. meteorological departments, weather forecasting department, defence ministry etc. are the renowned users of heavy tech gears to measure accurate and precision in these factors to detect impending calamities caused due to it. in our project we are designing a simple yet accurate sensor which is cost effective and can be used by anyone. say it farmers’ local residents, crane workers’ builders’ factories etc. due to our domain structure which is based on wireless sensor network, there is a wide range of applications in it. we have thought of an idea which is a main centre ideal for our project if this miniature sensor works effectively we are planning to add another feature for direction. if this project becomes successful we are planning to make more like these multiple sensors in an extremely compact size to detect the internal wind structure of hurricane. in terms of weather forecasting if we get the data if initial formation and eye formation of the hurricane, we can design an early warning systems based on the readings of temperature humidity pressure and direction of the spinning winds. this data can save millions of life in coming future. this project presents a wireless micro-scale wind sensor based on smd technology. this sensor will be used to design a hurricane warning system for future scope. the data transmission will be done wirelessly. mwvs will be placed in the eyewall of the hurricane, transmitting the parameters such as its velocity, temperature and humidity, pressure and the moving direction of the hurricane with respect to motion of the earth. the mwvs is based on the principles of magnetism which plays a key role in defining the position of the sensor with respect to earth’s magnetic field in micro gauss quantity. for testing of this sensor, a special type of wind tunnel is being designed by us, to create a miniature form of cyclonic atmosphere. mwvs is designed to abstract info from the hurricane, and develop a hurricane warning system. because of lack of time, people couldn’t be safe from this impending danger. hence the loss of lives is too high! so, one-time collection data of the internal structure of hurricane, we can develop an early warning system, pinpointing the location of a newly forming hurricane anywhere on the earth feeding it live via gps. we are just going to mainly focus on our sensor and how to extract data from it wirelessly and show the desired result! making of the warning system is kept for later work.
