This projects hardware target is a 3-axis closed frame engraver machine with a high-speed router. all the components are placed in shelf so that repair and maintenance is inexpensive and simple. the present system, while concerned primarily in the simulation of engraving patterns by a machine process, is applicable to the generation or re generation of a variety of intricate patterns. in such respect, the process may be useful engraving creates letter, names and graphic into wood, steel, aluminium, brass and copper in copying decorative patterns for printed cards, reproducing of contour maps, and a myriad (a large indefinite number) of other purposes involving the simulation of contours or of a pattern of lines existing in multi-dimensional space. the cnc router is ideal for hobbies, engineering prototyping, product development, art and production work. depending on the machine will most commonly have 3-4 axes to worry about, an x-, y-, z-, and c-axes. it works just like a coordinate system where we have x to the forward and backwards motion, y to the left, and right motion, z is for the ups and downs, and if you have the fourth axis it will control the rotations of your working object. this is pretty much the basics of the cnc machine itself; they may vary a bit from machine to machine. there are generally two main types of cnc machines the ones where the work surface is moveable and one where the gantry is moveable. we fixed the work piece and allow the gantry/router to move along the work piece to perform the operation.
